For students with a passion for engineering, colleges such as Morehouse and Central Michigan University are having "pre-engineering" programs open to freshmen coming into their schools. These programs allow entering students to learn some of the basics needed for their majors and also give thema good taste of what college life is all about. Programs such as these can be extremely helpful to get hopeful students ready for the field of their choice.
