In Tamil Nadu (the peninsula off the southern coast of India) colleges have reported that there will be around 1,350,000 engineering seats available to potential students. In all, 354 colleges, including 333 self-financing colleges, 11 university colleges, and 10 government and government-aided colleges, would be included in the counseling process. General applicants will have to pay Rs. 500 for the form, and it is open to anyone who applies.
